Sounds of The Set returns to Downtown Delray Beach on Wednesday, June 25, for the opening night of the summer series — an evening of live soul music, local shopping, and community programming running from Libby Wesley Plaza to The Hive along Fifth Avenue.

The night's headliner is JM and the Sweets, a soul act performing live as part of an event the organizer structures as a walkable evening across the downtown core. The route moves attendees through Blackmer's Market and Fifth Avenue boutiques before the performance, threading retail and food into the same itinerary as the concert.

The format — live music built around local vendors and independent boutiques — positions the series less as a standalone show and more as an activation of the corridor between Libby Wesley Plaza and The Hive. Per the organizer's Instagram, June 25 marks the summer series kickoff. No additional dates in the run have been announced publicly as of this writing.

What the rest of the summer calendar looks like — how many dates follow, and who performs — will determine how much of a recurring presence Sounds of The Set becomes in Downtown Delray's warm-weather programming.
