The Florida Panthers have completed a renovation of the Champions Club Presented by JetBlue at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, adding upgraded premium seating, expanded dining areas, modern finishes, additional TVs, and new social gathering spaces to one of the arena's marquee fan zones.
Per the team's Instagram, the work touches the full scope of the Champions Club — which serves fans before, during, and after games — with integrated cup holders and a layout aimed at extending how long guests stay in the space. The renovation's design team and contractor have not been disclosed publicly.
The upgrade arrives during what the franchise openly describes as its most successful competitive era: the Panthers reached back-to-back Stanley Cup Finals appearances in 2023 and 2024, winning the championship in 2024. For organizations at that profile level, arena reinvestment in premium inventory is both a revenue strategy and a retention play — clubs like the Champions Club are typically sold on multi-season commitments, and physical upgrades are often tied to renewal cycles or new sponsorship activations. JetBlue's presenting sponsorship of the club is one of several naming-rights and premium deals the franchise has layered across Amerant Bank Arena's interior.
Amerant Bank Arena, which opened in 1998 under the name National Car Rental Center and has cycled through multiple naming-rights partners since, seats approximately 20,000 for hockey. The building adopted the Amerant Bank name in 2023. Premium club offerings — defined by expanded food-and-beverage programs, in-seat service, and dedicated social spaces — have become a primary battleground for arena operators competing for discretionary entertainment spend in markets with multiple professional teams.
No specific opening date or first game of availability was named in the announcement. The renovated Champions Club is expected to be in service for the Panthers' 2025–26 NHL season, which opens in the fall. Whether additional premium spaces at Amerant Bank Arena are slated for similar treatment has not been announced.
