Paris Baguette is opening its first Miami location at Strata Wynwood, the mixed-use development in one of the city's most commercially active arts corridors, according to the brand's Instagram. The 3,000-square-foot café will include indoor seating and a dedicated patio for up to 30 guests.
The opening marks the brand's first foothold in South Florida. Paris Baguette, founded in South Korea in 1988 and operated by SPC Group, has built a global network spanning more than 4,000 locations across Asia, Europe, and North America. The brand's model — baked goods displayed at café counters, full seating for dine-in — travels well across markets, competing as much on consistency and pastry breadth as on any single signature item. Its U.S. expansion has moved through major coastal markets over the past decade — New York, Los Angeles, Chicago — with the Wynwood address extending that push into Miami for the first time.
The 3,000-square-foot footprint, with its dedicated outdoor component, puts Paris Baguette among the larger café tenants in Strata Wynwood's ground-floor retail mix. The patio's 30-seat capacity is a real asset in a neighborhood where outdoor seating drives consistent traffic for all-day concepts year-round. Wynwood's retail corridors have grown increasingly competitive for café operators attempting to build a reliable daily customer base alongside the neighborhood's gallery and event-driven foot traffic.
The menu follows the format Paris Baguette has standardized across its U.S. locations: breads and pastries baked fresh, a display case running from buttery croissants to mochi donuts, and more composed items including tiramisu tarts and Portuguese pastel de nata. Sandwiches and a coffee program fill out an all-day lineup the brand's Instagram describes as covering everything from morning pastry runs to afternoon breaks — positioning that puts it in direct competition with the independent cafés and fast-casual breakfast concepts that have expanded through Wynwood and adjacent Edgewater in recent years.
The Strata Wynwood address puts Paris Baguette inside a mixed-use development that has been building out its ground-floor tenant roster. The café's scale and dedicated patio represent a more substantial physical commitment than the boutique operators that shaped Wynwood's early retail identity, and reflect the kind of nationally recognized investment that tends to arrive once a district's pedestrian patterns and lease structures have stabilized enough to support it.
No confirmed opening date has been announced beyond the brand's Instagram post. As the café comes online, Strata Wynwood's ground-floor lineup will come into clearer focus — Paris Baguette adds a globally scaled name to a development still filling out its tenant mix. For the wider Wynwood market, the arrival of a 4,000-location chain at a primary development site is one more signal in the neighborhood's ongoing shift from arts-district experiment to established retail destination.
