Related Group and BH Group have announced a collection of nine ultra-luxury penthouses at the forthcoming W Pompano Beach Hotel & Residences, per the developers' Instagram, bringing some of the largest new oceanfront residences in South Florida to a beachfront corridor that has drawn growing developer interest over the past several years.
The penthouse collection spans floor plans from 3,250 to more than 6,200 square feet, with each residence including a private rooftop terrace and Atlantic Ocean exposure, according to the announcement. At the upper end of that range, these units would rank among the most expansive new-construction residences on the Broward coast.
The move extends the reach of two of South Florida's most active luxury residential developers into Pompano Beach's oceanfront market. Related Group, the Miami-based firm behind a significant share of South Florida's high-end condominium pipeline, and BH Group have partnered on multiple luxury residential projects across the region. Their combined arrival in Pompano Beach — rather than in Fort Lauderdale to the south or Boca Raton to the north — carries weight as a market signal. The W flag, part of Marriott International's luxury lifestyle portfolio, has served as a residential anchor in comparable mixed-use towers along the South Florida coast.
The developers' Instagram described the penthouse announcement as "the latest sign that Pompano Beach is emerging as one of South Florida's fastest-growing luxury real estate markets." That framing tracks with the visible uptick in beachfront development activity in the city, as buyers and capital increasingly move beyond Miami Beach and Las Olas in search of oceanfront product at scale.
No pricing, construction timeline, or sales launch date was included in the announcement. As the W Pompano Beach Hotel & Residences moves toward a formal sales phase, the penthouse tier will likely serve as the project's pricing ceiling — and a reference point for what the Pompano Beach coastline can now command.
